We install the first AST 4100 setup into a Vorshlag Test Pilots NA chassis Miata.

vorshlag > To access the left rear shock mount this steel cover in the LR of the trunk needs to come out. 10mm socket, 4 bolts. This cover protects the soft fuel fill and overflow drain hoses from "flying trunk junk" in a crash.
vorshlag > Access to the LR upper shock mount is still lousy with that cover removed, but reaching in to adjust the rebound knob on the ASTs was still fine.
vorshlag > Rear shocks (Koni) with OEM springs
vorshlag > That swaybar bolt is about to come off
vorshlag > Brian begins to remove the upper shock mount bolts (two 14mm headed nuts)
vorshlag > Secure the lower control arm before removing the upper rear shock mount nuts.
vorshlag > Next you need to remove the upper control arm spindle bolt, to allow enough droop travel to remove the shock
