Motionmotorsport M3 Underpanel Installation

Step by step instructions for the E36 under panel made by motion motorsports. We've got these on two of our shop cars and they fit great and function perfectly!

vorshlag > Before installing the underpanel, remove all factory plastic panels as shown above.

vorshlag > MotionMotorsport M3 Underpanel with all the included hardware.

vorshlag > Remove the old plastic inserts from the frame rail and replace with the provided inserts.

vorshlag > Shown above are the new inserts installed in the frame rail.

vorshlag > Using the supplied screws, attach the bracket to the frame rail. The lower tabs should be pointing inward toward the motor.

vorshlag > Both brackets are installed correctly with their lower tabs pointing inward toward the motor.

vorshlag > Attach the underpanel using four sets of screws and nuts. Keep the panel loose until it is aligned properly, then tighten before drilling the holes.

vorshlag > Keep the nuts loose until the underpanel is aligned.

vorshlag > Hold the panel while drilling the holes for the studs.

Before installing the underpanel, remove all factory plastic panels as shown above.
