Mineral Wells is hot in July. 104°F and no shade. Amy ran the STS classed E30 and won B class by ~5 seconds on a brand new set-up... Four different people drove the car in competition that day and the clutch *exploded* on the very last run. Oh well, not bad for 200K miles. Fair ran the C5 Corvette AST test car in Z class and won the class and set Fast Time of Day. He had another run a full second quicker but coned it away. Lesson learned: in a Corvette with Kumho V710s you need to use a harness. I'm bruised and sore from being thrown around inside the Corvette!
