Shuttle valve for AST air jack installaiton kit.
This is mounted to the body (it has a bulkhead fitting at the back - the blue anodized nut) and plumbed into the air jacks. During a pit stop and the Nitrogen charged filling "lance" is slid over the end of this valve and used to charge the pneumatic air jack system. The wand can be removed once the jacks are fully extended, then the shuttle valve is pulled back and to discharge the system and retract the jacks at the end of the pit stop.
The shuttle valve shown above is in the "discharge" position, with the discharge ports visible near the red anodized flange.
