vorshlag > Once the stud is completely installed, loosen the 2 nuts relative to each other and they will easily come off, the stud staying in place.

vorshlag > Note the wheel stud's unthreaded shoulder is contacting the hub. These are installed correctly and completely.  When installed correctly and with Loctite 262, they will stay in place until you remove them with the double-nut technique.

vorshlag > 80mm Vorshlag studs on E36 rear with Stoptech 13.5" rotors and calipers. This set-up allows for the use of a "pretty significant" spacer - the effective length of the 80mm stud compares to 90mm studs sold by others (that have a 10mm unthreaded tip).

vorshlag > Sometimes removing a stubborn stud requires some heat (~500°F) applied to the base of the stud and the surrounding hub area - this breaks down the chemical thread locker.
