Install the Vorshlag camber plate onto the spring perch. The spherical bearing in the camber plate should fit snugly over the upper spool pieces pressed into the spring perch axial bearing (see prev picture).
E36 camber plates are now labeled "PSGR" for Passenger Side and "DRVR" for Driver's side. Find the engraving on the main plate under the "top ring". On E36s, the driver's side strut has a bracket with three holes, the passenger side only has two holes in the bracket that mounts the brake line and sensor.
